Rory Arthur is a fashion designer based in New York City who began his career interning at Marina Moscone, Eric Schlösberg and Calvin Klein 205W39NYC during his undergraduate studies at Parsons School of Design. Upon completion of his capsule thesis collection, Rory built a client base utilizing his skills in creative consultation, pattern making, and garment construction. He began his full time role designing for the American luxury brand, Ralph Lauren. Rory’s design philosophy is to honor traditional craftsmanship and create clothing that considers the sensory experience of the wearer as much as it’s visual interest. Rory is largely inspired by the interior and exterior duality fashion holds, as both a reflection of our internal states, and extensions of our physical being.
